Meet Enrico Gandara!
Teacher at Twain Madison
My name is Enrico Gandara and this is my 9th year teaching, my 3rd year with Twain, and my first year at Twain Madison. I graduated from a continuation/alternative high school in Seattle, Washington and it has been a very rewarding experience working with students that are on a similar path. After high school I attended Santa Monica & Rio Hondo Community Colleges and eventually transferred to UC Santa Cruz (Go Banana Slugs!), where I received my bachelor's in Economics. After college I entered the business/start up word and shortly realized that I wanted to work with students who found their way to a more non-traditional school, so I enrolled at Azusa Pacific University's teacher credential program.
Outside of the classroom I am usually spending time with my family enjoying many of the things San Diego County has to offer. I am proud to call Chula Vista home and am excited for a long future working in San Diego City schools.
